How many people are there on each trip?
We usually keep our groups between 8–16 people — small enough to keep it personal, big enough to keep it interesting.

What is the cancellation policy?
Plans change. If you do need to step back, here's exactly where you stand, based on how close you are to departure: 60+ days before departure: 15% of your total trip cost is retained (this is your deposit amount). 45 to 60 days before departure: 30% of your total trip cost is retained. 30 to 45 days before departure: 50% of your total trip cost is retained. Under 30 days before departure: 100% of your trip cost is retained. That's the standard policy. But we know life doesn't always stick to a schedule. If something genuinely unexpected comes up, talk to us. We'll work to get you the best possible outcome, even if we can't promise a specific number upfront. If you find someone who's a good fit for the group and can take your spot, we might be able to refund you in full. This isn't guaranteed for every trip, and the details can shift depending on which one you're on, so check with us directly before assuming it's settled. Outside of all this? If something comes up that doesn't fit neatly into the above, reach out anyway. We'd rather have the conversation than leave you stuck.

Do you help with visas and flights?
We have partners who can help you with visas and flights if you’d rather not deal with the hassle. If you prefer handling it yourself, that works just as well. Just a heads-up — these aren’t included in the trip cost.

Can I join with a friend?
Of course. We love it when friends join, and even more when you end up making a few more along the way.

Who is Breakaway Club for?
If you like exploring, meeting new people, and don’t need every moment planned out, you’ll feel right at home. We set the stage. What you do with it is entirely up to you. If you prefer everything structured and taken care of end-to-end, this might not be your kind of trip.

How does payment work?
Before you book, we’ll share the full payment plan with you. Typically, we take an advance to lock your spot, with the remaining amount due 45–60 days before departure, so everything is sorted well in advance.
