Two friends. Loughborough University. And a shared obsession with doing travel differently.
From stadiums across the UK to festivals that went on longer than planned, (and mornings that started much later than they should have), our trips were never about ticking places off a list.
They were about chasing a feeling.

One of us grew up around travel. Not the usual kind, but 15+ years of building luxury journeys for people who expect more from the world. That gave us something rare. A behind-the-scenes look at how great travel is built and how easily it can start to feel… predictable.
But after spending time in the industry, one thing became clear. A new generation doesn’t just want comfort.
They want access.
They want authenticity.
They want to feel something.
They want to find the places that aren’t on every list.
And more importantly, the people who make those moments better.
That’s where Breakaway Club comes in.
We didn’t build a travel company.
We built a way to explore what you care about, whether that’s
watching your club in a stadium that shakes,
finding yourself in the middle of a crowd singing the same song,
surfing a coastline you’ve never heard of,
or jumping out of a plane just because you felt like it
All of it, with people who get it.
Because the best part of travel was never just where you went. It’s who you found along the way (and the stories you probably shouldn’t tell everyone).
