Amsterdam didn't build its reputation on early nights and good decisions. Neither did Oktoberfest. So we put them together and called it a trip. Four days of canals, coffeeshops, and controlled chaos, followed by four days of steins, tents, and stories you'll be telling for years. This is not a tour. This is not a package holiday. This is eight days of doing exactly what you came here to do.

The Blueprint

Day

01

The Dam Landing

Bags down, city on. We head straight to the centre for the icebreaker. Canal-side drinks, winding streets, and the first real conversation of the trip.

Day

04

Windmills Or White Noise

Zaanse Schans for the windmills or Vondelpark for the stillness. Last night in Amsterdam! Go back for whatever made you feel alive.

Day

07

Salzburg Or More Stiens

Mountain air in a Salzburg day-trip or back in the trenches. Your call. Pro tip - the early tents are where the real stories happen.

Day

02

Markets & Red Lights

Wake & Bake by the water or life-changing street food at Albert Cuyp, or maybe both! As the sun drops, we go deep into the Red Light District.

Day

05

The Beer-athon Begins

Canals out. Bavaria in. We land in Munich, check in, and head straight to Theresienwiese. The tents don't wait.

Day

08

The Farewell Feast

One last session. One round on us. A toast to the tribe, the chaos, and the fact that we made it.

Day

03

Low Tides & Hazy Nights

Jordaan in the afternoon. Smoke-friendly canal cruise at golden hour. Pub crawl after dark. The Dam's heaviest clubs by the end of it.

Day

06

The Bavarian Blur

The city is yours. Museums, the city centre, the university district or just back to the tents. The only thing, Oktoberfest has the final say!

Day

09

The Long Goodbye

Checkout. One last coffee. Final goodbyes. Phone back on (To coordinate the reunion).

A message from the founder

Some trips start with a plan. This one started with a feeling. I did Oktoberfest solo. And somewhere between the third stein and the fourth, surrounded by strangers who felt like buddies, I kept thinking, "imagine doing this with your people". But Oktoberfest needed a warm-up worthy of it. There was only one city that made sense. Amsterdam — the architecture, the canals, the people, the coffeeshops. The city that makes time move differently. So we built the trip we always wanted to go on. Two cities, nine days, find your people. — Jwal

Got questions?
We’ve got answers.

01

How many people are there on each trip?

We usually keep our groups between 8–16 people — small enough to keep it personal, big enough to keep it interesting.

02

What is the cancellation policy?

Plans change. If you do need to step back, here's exactly where you stand, based on how close you are to departure: 60+ days before departure: 15% of your total trip cost is retained (this is your deposit amount). 45 to 60 days before departure: 30% of your total trip cost is retained. 30 to 45 days before departure: 50% of your total trip cost is retained. Under 30 days before departure: 100% of your trip cost is retained. That's the standard policy. But we know life doesn't always stick to a schedule. If something genuinely unexpected comes up, talk to us. We'll work to get you the best possible outcome, even if we can't promise a specific number upfront. If you find someone who's a good fit for the group and can take your spot, we might be able to refund you in full. This isn't guaranteed for every trip, and the details can shift depending on which one you're on, so check with us directly before assuming it's settled. Outside of all this? If something comes up that doesn't fit neatly into the above, reach out anyway. We'd rather have the conversation than leave you stuck.

03

Do you help with visas and flights?

We have partners who can help you with visas and flights if you’d rather not deal with the hassle. If you prefer handling it yourself, that works just as well. Just a heads-up — these aren’t included in the trip cost.

04

Can I join with a friend?

Of course. We love it when friends join, and even more when you end up making a few more along the way.

05

Who is Breakaway Club for?

If you like exploring, meeting new people, and don’t need every moment planned out, you’ll feel right at home. We set the stage. What you do with it is entirely up to you. If you prefer everything structured and taken care of end-to-end, this might not be your kind of trip.

06

How does payment work?

Before you book, we’ll share the full payment plan with you. Typically, we take an advance to lock your spot, with the remaining amount due 45–60 days before departure, so everything is sorted well in advance.

07

What kind of accommodation can I expect?

We choose stays that are well-located, comfortable, and add to the overall experience.
